Elisabeth Görgl has written her name in the history of alpine skiing, becoming the fourth racer to win downhill and super-G titles at the same World Championships.
"The super-G gold was not a relief for me, I still felt pressure," added the Austrian. "But I think you need to have that feeling to do really well." said Lizz, who has won three World Cup races but never before a gold medal at a world championship or Olympic Games. "I had to fight with all my heart, it was very icy and bumpy with lots of ruts. I've been fighting for a big result like this for my entire career ".
To underline also the good placements of Andrea Fischbacher and Anja Pärson, who got a 9th and 11th places.
