KATUSHA AND RODRIGUEZ ON THE TOP OF THE WORLD CHART
The 95th Giro d’Italia has finished and the union between Carrera and Katusha is confirmed as one of the most fearsome of world cycling: even if Rodriguez lost the pink jersey in the last ITT stage in Milan, he and his team can now take comfort with the supremacy in the individual and team charts of Uci World Tour.“Purito” before the beginning of Giro, was sixth in this chart, but now, thanks to his final placement, he got over Tom Boonen (Omega Pharma – Quick Step) and Vincenzo Nibali ( Liquigas – Cannondale), who before the Giro d’Italia’s start line were in the first two positions. At the same time, changings in the top of the chart reserved for the teams, with the Team Katusha in the leader position, overcoming the Liquigas - Cannondale and the British Sky ones. This great positioning comes from the incredible Giro of Joaquim, who has won two stages (Assisi and Cortina) and got a lot of good placements (a second, a third and a fourth place), which gave him the points to take chart’s top and the red jersey too. Joaquim Rodriguez and the Katusha Team are wearing the CARRERA RADIUS WHITE RED, a revolutionary helmet developed using the innovative “ATF” (Aluminium tech frame)system, offering the best aerodynamic penetration (CX), which is synonymous of optimized internal ventilation and less frontal air resistence.
