Andrea Fischbacher
Juniores Super G World Champion in 2004, Fischbacher debuted in the World Cup the same year in the Sestriere Super G.
During the following season she gained another gold medal, always in the Super G discipline, in the Juniores World Cup. Thanx to two victories and three placements on the podium, she won the Europe Cup.
Her first "adult" podium dates back to December 4th 2005, when she got the silver medal in the Lake Louise Super G. She conquered her first victory in 2008, in the same discipline.
In 2006 she had a part in the XX Winter Olympic Games, and got the 13th place in the Super Giant.
In the 2009 World Cup, in Val d'Isere, Andrea won the bronze medal in the Super G. The following year, she reached the second step of the podium.
Finally, during the last Vancouver Olympic Games, she graduated olympic champion in the Super Giant race, by preceding Tina Maze and Lidsay Vonn at the finishing line.
